As part of its Silver Jubilee Year Celebrations, Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation organised an awareness run from Poonjeri to its Chennai campus on Sunday.
The run, titled “Run for a Cause: Clean Energy for a Brighter Future”, which aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, saw over 500 enthusiastic students and staff participate, said a press release here.
Flagged off by former National athlete Ranjith Narayanan in the presence of M. Arivazhagan, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mamallapuram Sub-Division, Chengalpattu District, the event sought to raise public awareness on clean energy, promote renewable resources, enhance energy efficiency, reduce pollution, and advocate for energy independence.
