NASA Secures Top-Tier Custodial and Landscaping Services Contract

NASA has awarded a contract to Melwood Horticultural Training Center Inc., based in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, to manage custodial, janitorial, landscaping, and recycling operations at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.

This Facilities Custodial and Landscaping contract is structured as a firm-fixed-price hybrid, combining completion and indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity elements. It features an initial 12-month base period with the possibility of four additional 12-month extensions, potentially reaching a total value of around $36 million if all options are utilized. The contract’s base period starts on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, and concludes on September 30, 2026. Should all options be exercised, the contract would continue through September 30, 2030.
